REPORT: Spring 2024 Peer Survey

I always value receiving the opinions of my local Realtor community through the Peer Surveys that we share from time to time. This last survey struck a bit of a chord, however.

We not only received a lot of responses, but also many candid and detailed written opinions. We're all trying to figure out the pathway forward and it seems as though Realtors are right in the thick of the battle for our livelihoods.

If you are anything like me and fervently believe in the real estate industry and what we do for people, it is tremendously disappointing to read the trending headlines.

Agents and their clients have been through a lot together over the years. Many of us have experienced the coming and going of many challenges and changes in our industry including NO buyer's agency/sub-agents, computers, voicemail, websites, fax, 2009 Bubble, AI, and Covid-19... There is one common thread that ties us all together, and that is the resiliency we commonly share. I believe Realtors will get through even these times and will continue to represent our clients - and get paid for the value we provide to each real estate transaction.
