Celebrity Coach Bill McCartney to Speak at Christian Church of Clarendon Hills (CCCH) on Father’s Day

Dads, there is a very cool event happening in Clarendon Hills on Father’s Day. At 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m, Coach Bill McCartney will speak at the Christian Church of Clarendon Hills (CCCH). Former U of Colorado Coach Bill McCartney has spoken to many guys in his time, motivated many football players to do their best, but what Coach is most known for these days is connecting guys to Christ and getting them to stick to their promises. I have a good friend who’s life was changed by going to a Promise Keeper’s event so I have heard good things about his convictions. I don’t know if it’s just the football player in me but I have a lot of respect for coaches. My coach at Indiana University, Bill Mallory was one of those coaches that when he spoke, everyone listened. If you ever stop into my office at 5 S Prospect, Clarendon Hills, you will see a picture of Coach prominently displayed on the wall. It seems he still has an impact on how I perform and live out my life. By the way, my coach also coached at U of Colorado some time before heading to IU.

I’m excited for my buddies over at CCCH as this is a huge event and they are making a big commitment to bring in such a well know speaker for the Clarendon Hills and surrounding communities. The Senior pastor, Matthew Rogers has a lot of vision and energy for ministry. Don’t miss the CCCH’s 4th Annual Car Show that will take place on Sunday, June 19, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the CCCH parking lot. Free hotdogs and lemonade -Wow!!
