Beginning in January 2024, Mike McCurry Group of Compass will be producing three new video series aimed to provide valuable information to the public: Invested, Connected to Community, and First Things First.
Throughout each month, these valuable videos will be shared to McCurry’s social channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and posted to this website’s blog at the end of each month. The monthly e-newsletter released by Mike McCurry Group of Compass will also include links to the months’ videos. The public can sign up for the monthly e-newsletter here >>
Below is an overview of each of the new video series…
“Invested”
A series of videos from Mike McCurry Group of Compass featuring McCurry’s expert insights on all-things-real-estate investment. McCurry, who began his real estate career in 1990 and also started purchasing real estate properties at that time, will create video content that gives an insider perspective on buying, owning, and selling investment properties. Plus, how locals can invest in their communities and their homes for future equity.
Topics will include: DIY renovation, homeowner basics, maintenance of properties, areas of the home to invest resources into, selecting a neighborhood to purchase in, how to set rental rates, when to sell an investment property, and much more!

“Connected to Community”
A series of videos from Mike McCurry Group of Compass featuring community-related news or topics important to the communities that Mike McCurry serves, including but not limited to: Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, Downers Grove, Oak Brook, La Grange, Burr Ridge, and the surrounding areas.
Topics will include: interviews with local business owners and community leaders, tours of community spaces, school district and extracurricular information, local news and event coverage, details about plans for progress in the communities, and much more!

“First Things First”
A series of Q&A videos from Mike McCurry Group of Compass featuring Mike’s answer to a real estate question. This monthly video will be posted to Mike McCurry Group of Compass’ social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) on the first of every month beginning February 2024.
Topics will include: how to determine your home’s value and listing price, how to prepare your home before selling, deciding when to buy or sell, how to choose a neighborhood, ensuring your assessment matches your home’s market value, mortgage questions, how long it may take to sell in current market conditions, and much more!
