Sure, we work so we can put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads. But for a passionate group of folks like the team here at Mike McCurry Group, there’s more to it than that.

Let me tell you a story…
A young couple came to us for help in buying their first home. These college sweethearts were in the midst of planning their dream wedding all while navigating the home-buying process for the first time. They needed our guidance.
They both grew up in the area and knew exactly what they wanted, but needed help finding it…and negotiating to get it. We found them an adorable starter home a short walk from the train and downtown Clarendon Hills. We effortlessly moved them through the process—offer, inspections, negotiating, paperwork, more paperwork, a little more paperwork, and closing.
They lived a meaningful life together in that home for a handful of years. They were married, they changed jobs, they adopted a sweet dog, they hosted wonderful parties for their family and friends, they transformed the basement into cozy extra living space, and they brought their first-born home to this house. The house was a home.
Not too many years later, this young growing family needed to make another meaningful move. They trusted our guidance.
With plans to expand their family and plant their roots in the right school district, they needed a bigger home in a very specific area. Rather quickly, we had their “starter home” under contract and needed to find their “forever home” at the right price in the right neighborhood. It was a tall order – but we did it.
We were able to get them into a lovely home. They have since welcomed a second child into the world, hosted family holidays, walked to the library and nearby parks countless times, and continue to make updates to the house to meet their family’s needs.
This is one family. We’ve helped hundreds of families over our 29 years of experience. And each and everyone has their own unique story. These people are WHY we work…
