Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Burr Ridge Village Center is the shopping, food, and entertainment hub in Burr Ridge. Three must-stop dining experiences are in the village center, removing the need to travel far for a first-rate culinary experience. The Hampton Social is a brightly lit, coastal-styled restaurant with a bar, dining room, and lounge; it is the perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends. The Hampton Social is open for dinner and weekend brunch, and the menu is built with sharing in mind, so grab a couple of shareables and dig in. Eddie Merlot’s prides itself on two things: its steak and wine. Their USDA prime beef is aged for 21 days minimum before reaching your table, and it is a juicy, tender experience. The wine list at Eddie Merlot’s is extensive, with options like exciting red varietals, cabernet sauvignon, and, of course, the classic merlot. Topaz Cafe is an exquisite restaurant that serves what they call Contemporary American. This cafe is spacious, intimate, and right in the village center.

Things to Do

Burr Ridge keeps residents involved in the community by hosting regular events like the Burr Ridge Car Show, Concerts on the Green, Taste of Burr Ridge, and Deck the Green. The Annual Burr Ridge Car Show takes place at the Village Center in Burr Ridge at the same time as the Taste of Burr Ridge. Whereas the car show highlights the exemplary classic cars of the community, the Taste of Burr Ridge showcases the culinary talent that lives in the village.

Concerts on the Green is a summer concert series where families can enjoy the music, food, and other vendors. If you want to do something more serene and remote, check out Oak Grove. Oak Grove is 3.5 acres of forest where you can see hickory trees and burr oaks. This preserve is right off the I-55 and a verdant haven to hike any time of year.
