We are back to school in our award-winning and nationally-recognized schools in Hinsdale and surrounding areas! As a Realtor, I’ve seen the impact of school quality on the community – including the local real estate market. Also as a father-of-four, who raised all my children in these public schools with three of them still in District 86 at Hinsdale Central High School, my family has personally been the beneficiary of great schools in great communities.
For years, several area schools have peaked in top spots on the annually-updated Niche lists, including Hinsdale Central High School, currently ranked at #12 in Best Public High Schools in Illinois.
Our schools and the public resources we build, especially for young families, in our communities are a large part of why people move into – or out of – a specific area. Earlier this year, we sat down with Jack Baldermann, Superintendent of Community Unit School District 201 (CUSD 201) serving Westmont and parts of Clarendon Hills and Downers Grove, and talked about what makes the area so desirable for families with school-aged children.
